At the mid-point of this arc, the thrust of the message is trust. The sinister Cad Bane has taken members of the Senate hostage with the intention of using them as leverage to persuade the Republic to free Ziro the Hutt. Cad Bane didn't count on the resourcefulness of Padme, OR the presence of Jedi Knight, and perpetual thorn-in-the-sides of bad-guys the galaxy over, Anakin Skywalker.
